Meet University High School Senior, Wes Millard.
 Wes Millard
Spring, 2007 article about Wes Millard:
Apr. 12th; U-Hi senior Wes Millard looking ..
We are proud to feature our Senior Golf Letterman, Wes Millard. He has been launching his ball competitively since he was 11. He brings
years of experience and leadership to the Titan Team. Don't be fooled by his clowning around, he takes his game seriously, and works hard to hone
his skills. He works at Painted Hills Golf Course and in his off time, Wes spends hours on the range perfecting his shots (especially the short game). He shares his
Knowledge of the area courses witht he newer players and leads a strong line up into the Spring GSL matches.
Q: Where were you born and raised?
A: I was born in Solon, Iowa (just a few miles north of Iowa City), but raised right here in Spokane.
Q: How were introduced to golf?
A: Both my father and Grandfather love to play, and they took me out with them whenever possible.
Q: What is your personal favorite golf moment?
A: That's easy. It was when I threw a fit in the parking lot at the Spokane Country Club, after firing a 53 in the State Qualifier. I was 11.
Q: What is the strongest part of your game?
A: I am very consistent with my irons.

A: PAINTED HILLS, of course.
Q: List your three best finishes in golf tournaments:
A: Painted Hills Junior Champion...three times in a row!! (THREE PETE).
Q: What type of clubs and balls do you use?
A: My favorite ball is the Titleist Pro VI. I use a grab bag of clubs.
Q: What are your plans after High School?
A: I would like to continue my career in outside services, I love working the Driving Range and creating golf websites.
Q: If you are not golfing what do you like to do?
A: I love to do many things, like eating red meat, lifting weights and doing push ups.
As you can see by the interview above Wes is a 'happy go lucky' sort of guy. Hanging around Wes is cool, sure you have got to work hard in life,
but Wes still finds a way to makes things fun!
