Hank Frame, a Freshman at University High School (2006), sets a record setting pace in the WJGA (Washington Junior Golf Association) and IJGA (Idaho Junior Golf Association) summer tournaments. Hank, a member of the U High Titan Golf team, continued to hone his golf game this spring, culminating with a ‘69’ and medal victory in the Inland Empire Invitational at the Spokane Country Club. He was voted “MVP” for the Titans averaging 75.5 strokes for the GSL season, which tied him for 10th place in the league. He played all three WJGA summer tournaments tying for first in his age bracket at the Links in Post Falls (76), third at Stoneridge (73), and first at Couer d’alene Municipal Golf Course(69), and first in the IJGA at Twin Lakes(79) and Prairie Falls(74). The victory at Stoneridge on June 23rd was 11 strokes better than the field. Hank finished third at Districts July 17th at the University of Idaho, qualifying him for the State Championship. Hank then competed in the thirtieth annual WASHINGTON JUNIOR GOLF ASSOCIATION STATE CHAMPIONSHIP hosted by Fairwood Golf & Country Club and assisted by Meridian Valley Golf & Country Club, and Maplewood Golf Course, located in District Six (Kent Wa. and Renton, Wa.). Hank shot scores of 74, 75, 77, for a three round total of 226 which tied him for third! Hank calls Painted Hills Golf Course, home. He is an honor student at U High with a 3.95 gpa.
