Meet University High School Teacher, Mr. Mike Ganey.

We are proud to feature our Social Studies Teacher, Head Football Golf Coach, and Girls Golf Coach, Mr. Mike Ganey.
Q: Where were you born and raised?
A: Buffalo, NY.
Q: Where did you go to college and get your teaching degree?
A: Allegheny College, Meadville, Pa. BA in Political Science and a Master of Arts in Education.
Q: What was your favorite subjects in school?
A: Math and History.
Q: Did you play in any sports in high school? College?
A: Baseball, football.
Q: When did you realize that you wanted to coach?
A: Senior year in college.
Q: Where was your first teaching job?
A: Cleveland, Ohio. John Carroll University
Q: How long have you been at University High School?
A: 20 years
Q: What do you do for hobbies?
A: Kayaking, golfing, hiking, and camping.

A: I would like to travel internationally.

A: I am married with 6 daughters. I have 2 golden retrievers. I have 5 brothers and 4 sisters and 42 nieces and nephews!
